Modiphius Entertainment has announced a new tabletop miniatures game based on Fallout 4. Fallout Factions: Nuka World is a brand new miniature skirmish game that pits different factions from the Fallout series against each other. Game details are scarce, but it will be separate from Modiphius’s others To fall miniature game Wasteland War. However, although the rules of the two games are distinct, the miniatures of the Fallout Factions will be fully compatible with Wasteland War. Fallout Factions: Nuka World was designed by James Hewitt, a longtime game designer with credits on hellboy the board game, Necromundaand Follower.
Nuka-World served as the setting for one of the Fallout 4 final, amusement park-focused DLC packs taken over by raiders. Players had to balance missions between three separate factions, with one of the factions eventually going rogue. In Fallout Factions: Nuka World, the initial three factions will be the three factions of the DLC pack, so this appears to be a territory control and skirmish game that will use amusement park terrain. Modiphius promised that Fallout Factions will eventually expand to include other groups outside of the DLC.
Modiphius has several To fall games, including one Fallout Roleplaying Game which uses a 2d20 system and the long term Fallout: Wasteland War, which includes narrative campaign rules as well as standalone missions and two-player skirmish rules. Since a Fallout 5 could be years before release, some of these skirmish games could be newest To fall content fans could get for a very long time.
