Employees will receive payment as part of the payroll this summer, according to the district.

“BPS teachers, staff and administrators have worked tirelessly this school year and in a unique year we wanted to give them unique recognition,” School Board President Misty Belford said in a statement. . “Our ability to save the District money over the past few months has allowed us to do this and we couldn’t be happier.”

Brevard Schools said it had partnered with the Brevard Federation of Teachers, Local 1010 of the International Union of Painters and Allied Traders and the Brevard Association of School Administrators to be able to provide the payment. unique.
