Deadline day has arrived and it’s set to be a busy end to the window for Chelsea. 

Thomas Tuchel’s side have already landed two stars this summer – Marcus Bettinelli and Romelu Lukaku but could bring in further additions in the final day of the window.

Jules Kounde and Saul Niguez have been linked while several outgoings are expected.

After a tense wait, Chelsea’s move for Saul should be confirmed shortly. Deals in Spain for Atletico Madrid’s move for Antoine Griezmann and Luuk de Jong’s move to Barcelona left the deal in danger.

But documents have been processed in time, and all deals are set to go through soon.

The Blues didn’t like how Sevilla were dictating the deal for Jules Kounde. It is ‘unlikely’ Kounde will sign. There is no alternative – Thomas Tuchel’s side don’t want to sign a second rate option.
