PLYMOUTH — A high school vice principal is among five veteran school employees who will be retiring in the coming weeks.
Carolan Whittle, deputy principal of Plymouth South High School, will retire on June 30 after 35 years of service to the district.
Mary-Jane Banville, a moderate special needs reading teacher at Plymouth North High School, will retire on June 30 after 36 years and seven months of service to the district.
Lynn Findlay, security receptionist at Indian Brook Elementary School, will retire on June 27 after 29 years and eight months of service with the district.
Susan M. Martin, a moderate special needs teacher at Plymouth South High School, will retire on June 30 after 22 years of service to the district.
Phyllis Westcott, security receptionist/supervisor of student activities at West Elementary School, is retiring May 27 after 16 years and eight months of service with the district.
School officials announced the retirements along with two appointments and 12 resignations on Monday.
The nominees are Sarah Reichert, accounting specialist (grants and revolving), district-wide, and Nicole Russo, paraeducator ILC-3, FFES.
The resignations are Jaime Askin, NMES, Para-1 Literacy; Ariana Acerra, MES, Para-2 Security Receptionist; Kaitlyn Balboni, PNHS, Para-3 Project Growth; Ryan Costa, PNHS, women’s soccer assistant coach; Scott Fry, PSHS, assistant football coach; Susan Lindsay, MES/NMES/SES, instrumental music teacher; Evon Loranger, PSMS, house secretary; Erin Mendes, PSMS, ELA teacher; Matt Pavlisko, PNHS, assistant wrestling coach; Ruben Teixeira, PSHS, head boys football coach; Christina Runnals, WES, music teacher; and AnnMarie Schroeder, PNHS, nurse educator.
