The Cineum Cannes, designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti, houses 12 state-of-the-art screens and more than 2,400 seats. DTS: X provides the complex’s immersive audio on the multiplex’s “Aurora” Premium Large Format screen, its 270º ScreenX experience, its VIP private cinema and four standard cinema screens. Built-in DTS: X technology enables filmmakers to create richer soundscapes by moving sound objects in front, behind, above and beside the audience, precisely where the mixer places them, providing a realistic experience for Festival viewers of Cannes.
